Reporting To: Project Coordinator

Position Overview:

The North Kelvin Extra Time initiative is a structured afterschool multi-sport program aimed at promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyle education among primary school children. This program operates daily, providing 2-hour afterschool care, and the selected candidate will be expected to attend all sessions throughout the week.

The role involves implementing the NK Extra Time curriculum consistently at one of our designated school locations. While the position is fixed at 10 hours per week, there may be opportunities to extend these hours through involvement in various projects managed by North Kelvin Sports Development Group.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality programming for the North Kelvin Extra Time initiative at the assigned location.
  2. Implement the NKET curriculum effectively at each delivery site.
  3. Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders, including partners and participants.
  4. Maintain regular communication with the coordinator, ensuring all attendance and program data is accurately recorded and securely stored.
  5. Adhere to and promote the club's ethos and philosophy.
  6. Encourage improvements in physical activity and advocate for positive lifestyle choices.
  7. Uphold and promote ethical standards, child protection policies, fair play, and equal opportunities for all participants.
  8. Provide monthly reports to the Project Coordinator.
  9. Assist with any relevant club activities as directed by the management committee.
