About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Assessments Division in Stockton-on-Tees. As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor, you will play a vital role in helping people move forward with their lives by conducting assessments to determine their eligibility for benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
  • Listen to their experiences, ask questions, and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.
  • Work on a variety of cases across a range of conditions, using your clinical skills to deliver a quality and respectful service.
