As an Academic Instructor in EAP, your responsibilities will include designing and delivering engaging instruction across a wide range of programs that emphasize academic language, discourse, and literacy. The Language Centre (LC) at the University of Leeds serves students at all academic levels, from Foundation to PhD, including pre-degree pathway programs and in-course offerings. EAP instruction is seamlessly integrated throughout various academic departments, enabling EAP educators to collaborate with colleagues from diverse fields to enhance students' understanding of academic discourse and literacy requirements.
This position primarily focuses on enriching student education in international foundation year programs at the University of Leeds. Furthermore, you will lead program innovations and educational initiatives.

With dedicated scholarship time allocated in every EAP Instructor's workload, the LC engages in numerous projects that lead to publications in both national and international journals or the in-house online publication, The Language Scholar.
