Nursery Practitioner Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Stamford Endowed Schools. As a key member of our Early Years department, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, secure, and happy environment for our children to learn and develop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality early years education and care to children aged [insert age range]
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
  • Develop and implement engaging play-based activities that promote children's intellectual, creative, physical, social, and emotional growth
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and support
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the welfare and safety of children

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 relevant and recognised qualification in early years education
  • Sound knowledge of early years education and child development principles
  • Previous experience working in an early years setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Awareness of Health and Safety and practical hygiene issues
