The Role: Subsea Intervention Tooling Technician
As a Subsea Intervention Tooling Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and testing the company's sub-sea intervention tooling. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring that all work adheres to the highest quality standards and complies with approved drawings, bills of material, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough maintenance and testing of sub-sea intervention tooling in accordance with established specifications.
- Ensure all work is executed to the highest quality standards, adhering to company Business Management System and project-specific documentation.
- Perform Risk Assessments and Toolbox Talks prior to commencing any work activities.
- Maintain accurate records of experiential and competency documentation, as well as factory acceptance testing documentation.
- Adhere to all HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) and Quality policies and procedures.
- Identify personal training needs and actively participate in provided training opportunities.
- Continuously seek improvements in working methods, technology, and cost-reduction strategies.
- Provide accurate feedback to the Workshop Supervisor on job status and potential hold points.
- Complete workshop reports when refurbishing tooling.
- Maintain company equipment and promptly report any defects to the Workshop Supervisor.
- Ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained within the workshop and at client premises.
- Foster effective communication and feedback between individuals and departments for continuous development and improvement.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sub-sea intervention tooling, coupled with excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Experience in a similar role within the offshore industry is highly desirable.
