Contracts Manager - Metal Fabrication
We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Contracts Manager to oversee installation jobs for fabricated structures in industrial and construction environments, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
The Role
- Primarily office-based with regular site visits.
- Lead a team of project engineers and collaborate with Sales Engineers.
- Ensure contracts are commercially successful, maintaining margins.
- Plan and coordinate the work of the site service team.
- Responsible for Health and Safety protocols.
- Oversight and drafting of RAMS.
- AutoCAD drafting from site measurements.
- Managing changes to contracts and add-on work.
Requirements
- Industrial or construction site installation experience with extensive fabricator background.
- Sheet metal fabrication knowledge is essential.
- Likely to have recently held roles such as Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Contracts Engineer, Project Engineer, Estimator, or similar.
- AutoCAD drawing ability - preferably.
- Contracts Management & Project Management experience.
- Experience leading a small team of engineers.
- Ideally health & safety qualified - IOSH, NEBOSH, SSSTS, and/or experience working with Safe Contractor.
- Full driving licence.
Package
£35K - £50K. Company car negotiable.
