We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Briggs and Forrester Group in Northampton. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of our housing developments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Procurement and subcontract management, including administration of contracts and monthly valuations
  • Managing variation accounts, monthly payments, and final account settlements
  • Supporting the delivery of our business vision, goals, and strategy

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience in quantity surveying, with a strong background in account management and commercial expertise
  • Proven track record of working at a similar level within a construction or residential organization

  • Subcontract procurement and account management
  • Regular assessment of work and variation assessment
  • Valuations and timely submissions in accordance with contract requirements
  • Accurate cost value reconciliations and forecasting
  • Risk identification and mitigation

  • Leadership and team player skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and planning skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
