We are seeking a highly skilled Project Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at MPI Limited. This role will be responsible for supporting assigned projects by coordinating all quality and safety activities throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Management Gate Reviews by learning and ensuring adherence to the Alstom Project Management Process and Tools.
  • Create Safety Authorisation Reports to enable Commissioning, ensuring technical reports meet safety standards.
  • Lead investigations utilizing 8D Problem Solving to ensure safety, satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support Customer Satisfaction Surveys and Improvement Plans to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support the implementation of our APSYS Improvement Plan by deploying and improving processes to ensure excellence.

Requirements:

  • Member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) and hold Chartered Quality Professional status (desirable).
  • BTEC HNC/HND in Engineering/Quality Management (desirable).
  • IRCA certified lead auditor experience.
  • Experience in managing quality, audit, and problem-solving tools.
  • Experience in the quality management of construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Supporting the delivery of projects and the supporting of project management teams.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools, databases, and administration skills.
  • Knowledge of Rail Industry practices or other safety-critical industries (e.g., aerospace, automotive, oil and gas).
  • Communication, knowledge of Quality standards (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, ECM), and quality tools.
  • Collaboration and team working.
