Community Engagement Manager

Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Starting at £33,458 per annum, pro rata, based on skills and experience. Additionally, an allowance of £1,260 per annum, pro rata, is provided.
Hours: Part-time, 15 hours per week (some evening and weekend work may be necessary)
Role Overview
The 'Eyes On, Hands On' (EOHO) initiative empowers individuals interested in our mission to serve as our local representatives. Volunteers provide feedback on the condition of war graves, allowing us to allocate our resources effectively.
In this position, you will create opportunities for volunteers to enhance the support provided by our operational team. You will collaborate with the local regional manager and your volunteers, fostering and sustaining partnerships with a diverse array of volunteer organizations and associations, ensuring consistent engagement. You will also strengthen existing relationships with external cemetery groups where opportunities arise.
As the community engagement manager, you will oversee volunteer applications, connect with enthusiastic volunteers, and facilitate engaging online training sessions.
Essential Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in managing volunteer groups (including remote management)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly with a diverse audience
- Strong organizational abilities, with a knack for prioritizing tasks
- Proficient IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
