Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team in Carlisle. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance
  • Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels
  • Some deliveries/ returns from addresses
  • Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork
  • Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck
  • Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C)
  • Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only)
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation
  • Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A safety-first mindset
