Energy Settlements Manager

Utility People Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Energy Settlements Manager to join their innovative team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of energy market settlements, regulatory compliance, and exceptional analytical and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage energy market settlements, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including traders, risk managers, and operations teams.
- Collaborate with external parties, such as counterparties, exchanges, and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Provide analytical support to the business, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in energy market settlements, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
