About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at Alfred Recruitment. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for leading technical submissions and managing projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation of technical submissions for residential and non-residential projects
  • Liaise with clients, third-party consultants, and council officers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage and coordinate the work of the engineering team to meet project deadlines
  • Develop and maintain proficient knowledge of UK drainage and flood risk regulations
  • Utilize software such as Microdrainage/Flow, Microstation/AutoCAD, Causeway PDS, and Microsoft Office to design and model drainage networks and produce road designs/ground models
  • Conduct due diligence and feasibility reviews of potential sites and prepare submission packs for planning
  • Complete technical design submissions and groundworks packages for tender and construction
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the planning process and associated documents
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the industry with a strong understanding of drainage and flood risk regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proficient in software such as Microdrainage/Flow, Microstation/AutoCAD, Causeway PDS, and Microsoft Office
  • Desirable experience with private plot work design and earthwork design
