Maintenance Shift Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Shift Manager to join our team at NPR Recruit. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading a team of shift leaders, skilled maintenance engineers, and maintenance assistants in a site-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the shift team in day-to-day activities, ensuring seamless execution of maintenance tasks.
- Lead by example, managing customer expectations and ensuring delivery of high-quality results.
- Ensure all site equipment and machinery are maintained and repaired within agreed scope, adhering to quality standards and time schedules.
- Drive continuous improvement and enhancement opportunities, always looking for ways to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure spares are kept at optimal levels, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Oversee key staff processes, including team and individual attendance, staff discipline, and staff development through regular appraisals.
- Collaborate with other engineering team leaders to ensure shift consistency and share best practices.
- ONC, HNC, HND, BSC, or MSC in engineering.
- Understanding of PLC equipment and experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance.
