Job Type: Full-time

Location: Hybrid remote in Ellesmere Port

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team at Kenton Black Finance. As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, mentoring and training a small team of administrators, and providing excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls via IRIS Payroll Professional
  • Mentor and train a small team of administrators, providing technical support
  • Provide clients with payroll reports and updates
  • Communicate with clients and deal with HMRC queries and RTI
  • Process SMP, SSP, and other payroll-related tasks
  • Be competent and knowledgeable in all aspects of pensions auto-enrolment procedures
  • Process starters and leavers, P45/P46's, and set up new clients
  • Deal with BACS processing and client liaison/interaction

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in payroll, preferably in a bureau or accountancy practice
  • Full end-to-end payroll processing experience
  • Team leadership and drive to lead a small team
  • Solid knowledge of pension auto-enrolment procedures
