Job Description

Westbourne Academy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced English language instructor to join our team. As an EFL teaching professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students aged 16+ from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of different student groups.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to support their learning.
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of English language materials to meet student needs.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and performance management to ensure high standards in teaching and learning.
  • Engage in safeguarding practices and adhere to guidelines on child protection, equality, diversity, and inclusion, and health and safety.

Requirements:

  • Recognized EFL qualification, such as Cambridge CELTA/DELTA or equivalent.
  • Previous teaching experience, preferably in a UK-based language school.
