We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Culinary Support Team Member at MOXY York. This position is full-time, with shifts primarily focused on breakfast and lunch, requiring flexibility to accommodate varying business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will contribute to various tasks associated with meal preparation, cooking, and dish presentation in the Moxy style. Your duties will include:

  • Preparing and cooking food orders for guests in accordance with Moxy standards.
  • Assisting with basic food preparation, including breakfast setup for the following day.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, kitchen walls, ovens, and sinks.
  • Thoroughly cleaning the kitchen at the end of service to ensure readiness for the next day.
  • Maintaining food storage areas, including freezers and refrigerators.
  • Receiving and organizing deliveries within the kitchen.
  • Washing dishes, including cutlery, pots, and pans, or loading them into the dishwasher.
  • Properly disposing of kitchen waste from containers.
  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment.
  • Providing support to the kitchen team as required.
  • Keeping hygiene and HACCP records, ensuring daily entries in the food safety diary.
  • Using the correct cleaning chemicals and notifying the duty manager when supplies need replenishing.
