Job Title: Senior Drainage Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Drainage Engineer to join our team at Aldwych Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering projects on time and within budget, while ensuring the highest level of technical excellence.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a tangible impact on the success of our business. You will be working on a range of projects, from design to delivery, and will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in sustainable drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Ensure technical excellence in all aspects of project delivery
  • Work effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions
  • Support the technical development of junior colleagues
  • Deliver and technically review drainage projects at each design stage
  • Experience in the design of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
  • Working knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015
  • Strong CAD skills
  • Experience in InfoDrainage or similar software
Requirements
  • Relevant civil or environmental degree or masters level qualification with a minimum of 2:1 (or equivalent)
  • Energy and enthusiasm
  • Technically excellent
  • Able to integrate into a team and liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent written and spoken English
Desirable
  • Experience in flood risk management
  • Experience using Civil 3D
  • Experience with GIS software
  • Foul Water design
  • Hydraulic Modelling
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience within a council
