Job Summary:
MAN Commercial Protection is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Day Security Officer to join our team at a busy Distribution site in Norwich. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our site, personnel, and assets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Reception duties, including badge printing and area access control
- Alarm monitoring and CCTV investigations
- Controlling access to visitors, staff, and contractors
- Internal and external patrols to detect and prevent security breaches
- Following site procedures and reporting incidents and accidents to the customer
- Gatehouse duties, including checking driver IDs and vehicle inspections
- Screening and searching when required
Requirements:
- A valid SIA guarding/Door Supervisor Licence
- A 5-year checkable work/education history
- Competent computer skills and knowledge of computer systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create comprehensive incident reports
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
