Senior Power Electronics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join our team at IC Resources. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing highly efficient electrical subsystems for propulsion technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop power converters, including DC/DC, DC/AC, and resonant converters, with a focus on component selection, hardware prototyping, thermal and magnetic design, modulation techniques, and EMI/EMC.
  • Conduct failure analysis and reliability testing to ensure the highest level of performance and safety.
  • Design control systems for power converters, drives, and power networks, with a focus on efficiency and reliability.
  • Develop power supplies for space applications, with a strong emphasis on meeting the unique requirements of this sector.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, with a proven track record in power electronics and related fields.
  • Strong background in power converter design, component selection, and thermal and magnetic design.
  • Experience in failure analysis and reliability testing, with a focus on identifying and mitigating potential issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
