About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relief Duty Manager to join our team at McCarthy Stone's Balshaw Court development in Leyland. As a key member of our care and support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our community, providing exceptional customer service, and promoting a safe and welcoming environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the security and safety of the development, including responding to emergencies and incidents
  • Oversee the care and support teams, ensuring that residents receive high-quality support and care
  • Coordinate and facilitate activities that promote community spirit and engagement among residents
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to resident queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a care or support environment, preferably in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocols, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting
  • QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification or equivalent
