About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Jubilee School, part of Acorn Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pupils with complex SEMH needs in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Prepare learning materials and run classroom activities, with hands-on experience and supervision.
  • Take responsibility for pupils' emotional and physical needs, supporting their development as individuals and engagement with the world.
  • Work collaboratively with experienced teams to provide a supportive and enriching learning environment.
Requirements
  • Maths and English GCSE desirable.
  • Previous experience in a school setting.
