Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Surgical Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in increasing revenue, developing a strong brand reputation, and building long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales calls and meetings with key decision-makers to introduce and upsell our portfolio of medical devices.
  • Build rapport with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Present and work closely with surgeons, physicians, nursing staff, hospital administration, procurement, supply chain, healthcare providers, and others to achieve sales objectives.
  • Provide surgical procedure and technical product support in surgery, as well as ongoing customer service in accordance with company policy.
  • Stay up-to-date with market information for your territory to ensure maximization of market share, product acceptance, and specifications.
  • Travel across the South East of the UK, working within a team of experienced and driven sales professionals.

Requirements

  • Ability to produce and execute a tactical sales plan.
  • Commercial experience of successfully selling consumables and capital equipment within the medical or pharmaceutical industry, specifically within the surgical area.
  • Strong stakeholder management, building new business pipelines, and upselling within existing clients.
  • Proven track record in exceeding forecasted sales targets.
