About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solicitor to join our Disease team in Glasgow. As a key member of our team, you will handle a caseload of pre-litigated and litigated Disease cases for both insurer and uninsured clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct forensic reviews and analyses of relevant documents to determine liability and quantum.
  • Assist in drafting advice and court documents, including witness statements and instructions to experts and counsel.
  • Provide client liaison and site visits to ensure effective communication and case management.
  • Review files to assess litigation strategy and direction, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Partners and other team members to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • PQE experience in Litigation, with a focus on Personal Injury.
  • Excellent forensic skills, with the ability to analyze complex claims and determine liability.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts.
  • Previous experience in sensitive and complex claims is preferred.
  • Previous experience with time recording is also preferred.
