Job Summary:

MJ Quinn Integrated Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Traffic Management CAD Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing detailed CAD traffic management plans, ensuring compliance with industry guidelines, and providing support to our Traffic Management department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce detailed CAD traffic management plans, adhering to Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual and relevant codes of practice.
  • Collaborate with our Traffic Management team to ensure effective planning and execution of road safety projects.
  • Prepare design drawings on Bricscad Cone 11, utilizing your expertise to deliver high-quality results.
  • Support the design process, ensuring timely delivery of drawing work and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Promote safe working practices, maintaining a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Ability to meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
  • Team worker with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Experience in a CAD design technician role or similar field.
  • Understanding of industry guidelines and reference documents.
  • Competent in BricsCAD / Cone.
  • Possess M7 Lantra Accreditation or be willing to train towards it.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Education Requirements:

  • G.C.S.E level B+ in Mathematics & English (or equivalent).
  • A legal right to work in the UK.
