Pybus Recruitment Ltd is representing a distinguished automotive retailer known for its luxury car brands across the South of the UK. We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician for a role within our client's Croydon branch.

Equally, they prioritize supporting their staff to work cohesively as a team to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and a methodical approach to accurately identify and resolve vehicle issues. Engage with customers to understand their concerns effectively.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies introduced in the vehicle range and apply this knowledge to diagnose and repair faults.
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and servicing to the highest standards, adhering to the appropriate specifications.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed while observing safe working practices for yourself and others.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors when faced with complex situations beyond standard procedures.
  • Assess the quality of work using diagnostic equipment and conduct road tests post-repair. Coordinate with the Service Advisor.
  • Complete necessary service documentation (job sheets, PDI's, service reports) in accordance with brand standards and warranty requirements.
  • Conduct vehicle health checks and timely CitNOW videos (or equivalent).
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and organization, including the proper use of tools.


RequirementsRequirements:
  • Proficient in using modern diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to work to the highest quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Prior experience working towards efficiency targets.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Experience in a main automotive dealership is preferable but not mandatory.
  • VOSA approved MOT tester certification is an advantage but not essential.
  • Must possess Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair NVQ or equivalent.
