About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at Slim Chickens in Crawley. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the restaurant, ensuring that all Company standards are adhered to and that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the restaurant, including Front of House and Back of House operations.
- Lead by example and inspire your team to deliver outstanding guest hospitality.
- Act as a brand ambassador, building awareness of the Slim Chickens brand.
- Support with local marketing opportunities to drive sales and the presence of your restaurant and the Slim Chickens brand in your local area.
- Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
- Proactively develop and train your team to be the best at what they do.
- Help in building a passionate, engaged team that provides a great guest experience and can support with future new site openings.
Requirements
- Proven leadership expertise and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience working in a management position within the catering and hospitality industry.
- High level of communication skills with the ability to effectively coach and develop your managers and team.
What We Offer
- A starting salary of £26,000-£28,000 (Salary + Bonus OTE) per year.
- 44 Hour contract based over 5 days.
