Litigation Attorney for Public Sector

We are collaborating with a public sector entity seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to enhance their legal team on a temporary basis, for an initial duration of 3 months.
This is a full-time opportunity offering approximately £45 per hour through an umbrella company (negotiable based on experience) and the organization is looking for a candidate who can commence work promptly.
The role will primarily be remote, with occasional requirements for in-office attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and advising on a range of civil litigation matters, particularly those related to property, land, or contractual disputes.
- Overseeing a personal caseload of both Claimant and Defendant cases, including court appearances and hearings as necessary.
- Delivering expert legal counsel and representation in various civil litigation scenarios.
- Conducting thorough legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, along with providing comprehensive case analysis.
- Assisting in the negotiation of settlements and exploring alternative dispute resolution options when suitable.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the public sector, preferably within local government.
- Demonstrated experience in managing civil litigation cases and disputes.
Working Schedule:
- 37 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
