Job Overview

The CNC Machinist is responsible for executing machining tasks in accordance with established work instructions and relevant technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the organization's Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Program CNC machines as necessary.
  • Execute machining operations following prescribed procedures and relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Verify that completed products meet specified requirements.
  • Accurately document work instructions upon job completion.
  • Submit completed work instructions to the Quality Assurance Department for verification and final approval.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Perform additional tasks as required within the scope of the role to meet organizational needs.
  • Operate other machining centers as needed.

Required Experience:

  • Prior experience with machining Premium & API connections.
  • Proficiency in operating machines equipped with Fanuc controls.
  • Experience in creating programs on Fanuc is preferred.
Qualifications

Education / Certification:

  • Completion of Secondary School education or equivalent.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship as a machinist is preferred.

Technical Competencies:

  • Proficient in CNC operations.
  • Skilled in using hand-held power tools.
  • Capable of manual handling tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in various machining techniques.
