Leonardo is on the lookout for a skilled Lead Systems Architect to enhance our team. This position offers a distinctive combination of remote and onsite work from various locations. Within the Integrated Sensing and Protection (ISP) division, you will engage in pioneering projects and collaborate with both internal and external partners to create innovative system architectures.

We are searching for a Senior Systems Engineer to play a vital role in an exciting military and commercial satellite communications initiative. In this capacity, you will be instrumental in a transformative program aimed at delivering advanced technologies for the future. Collaborating with a diverse team, you will be responsible for the development of requirements, RF design analysis, and integration tasks. Your expertise will be essential in steering the engineering design process and ensuring project success.

Key Duties:

  • Performing systems engineering analysis and requirement derivation
  • Creating modeling codes for RF technical assessments
  • Participating in technical discussions and collaborating with suppliers
  • Contributing to RF and system design, along with testing and integration activities
  • Evaluating design integrity prior to formal assessments
  • Managing requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle
  • Influencing design choices and reporting to stakeholders
  • Encouraging knowledge sharing and best practice implementation
  • Generating technical reports to guide critical decisions
  • Maintaining effective communication within the engineering team
  • Working towards performance objectives and supporting Agile methodologies
