At Airswift, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Rotating Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to lead mechanical scopes on major engineering projects while collaborating with junior engineers, vendors, and project teams to ensure the timely delivery of procurement packages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute mechanical scope on engineering projects, ensuring task efficiency and compliance with project requirements.
  • Guide and supervise junior and graduate engineers to meet project objectives.
  • Define Specific Document Requirements List (SDRL) and ensure project documentation is comprehensive.
  • Conduct bid clarifications and assist in the order placement process, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
  • Attend client and vendor meetings, progress updates, inspections, and HAZOP discussions.
  • Liaise with vendors as the PRE, ensuring smooth progress and compliance with all project requirements.
  • Conduct technical inspections of equipment and provide regular project reporting.
  • Develop mechanical design basis documents, equipment material requisitions (MR), mechanical equipment lists (MEL), and handling systems designs.
  • Participate in design reviews, material selection, and regulatory compliance processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • ~5+ years of mechanical engineering experience, specifically within the Oil & Gas or Marine industries.
  • ~ Strong understanding of classification rules, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • ~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
