Compensation Details:

PAYE: £16.73 per hour for Day Shifts

Role Overview

H&G Recruitment Solutions is seeking HGV Class 1 Transport Operators to collaborate with our esteemed client, offering immediate start dates.

This is a continuous temporary role that provides the stability, dedication, and benefits associated with full-time employment while allowing the flexibility of temporary work within a reputable blue-chip organization.

Responsibilities include executing trunking operations to National and Regional Distribution Centers.

Candidate Requirements

  • HGV C+E Class 1 License
  • Minimum 1 Year of Experience
  • Valid CPC & Tacho Card
  • Demonstrated experience as an HGV driver, preferably with Curtain Sider expertise.
  • Exceptional driving abilities and a strong focus on safety.

Thorough understanding of UK road regulations and traffic laws.

Ability to read and interpret maps and effectively utilize GPS navigation systems.

Strong organizational and time management skills to adhere to delivery schedules.

Securely and efficiently load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing techniques are employed.

Comply with all traffic laws, regulations, and road safety standards while operating the vehicle.
