Educational Support Specialist (SEMH)

Teaching Personnel is in search of a committed Educational Support Specialist to become part of a caring and encouraging SEMH environment. This full-time position entails working from Monday to Friday, with standard hours.

As an Educational Support Specialist (SEMH), your role will involve assisting young individuals who face medical or psychological challenges that hinder their ability to participate in conventional education settings. This fulfilling position focuses on enhancing self-worth and collaborating closely with students to foster a secure and stimulating atmosphere where they can cultivate the necessary skills for success. You will be responsible for modifying lessons and educational resources to align with the students' learning capabilities, managing classroom behavior, and inspiring all learners to engage actively in their education.

Application Requirements: To collaborate with Teaching Personnel and successfully complete our vetting procedure, you must possess a Child Workforce DBS registered with the Update Service. Comprehensive support will be provided if you need to apply for a new check, which incurs a standard fee.

All stated pay rates will include statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the potential for a permanent role in the future.
