Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team at Driver Hire. As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods and materials to various locations across the East of England.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Covering holiday and sickness within the client's business, as well as any other ad-hoc bookings.
  • Working days will involve making deliveries around the East of England, with typical start times between 5-7am, Monday to Friday.
  • Weekends and flexible days may be available, with a minimum of 1-5 shifts per week depending on your availability.

Requirements:

  • A full UK licence with Cat C entitlement.
  • A current CPC card and Digi Tacho.
  • No more than 6 points on your licence.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting tasks.

Benefits:

  • Basic: £17.50 per hour Umbrella.
  • Overtime: £18.50 per hour Umbrella.
  • 28 days paid holiday pro rata on PAYE.
  • One free CPC module per 10 shifts worked.
  • Weekly pay.
  • 10hr minimum guaranteed pay per day.
  • Referral bonus.
