Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic/MOT Tester to join our client's team at their site in Cheshire. As a specialist truck and van dealer, our client is looking for someone who is ready to progress and expand with the company.

About the Role:

  • Carry out MOT tests to the DVSA guidance.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles to a high standard.
  • Carry out vehicle servicing.
  • Diagnose and repair suspension and braking systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles.
  • Keep accurate records of work carried out.
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults.
  • Replace parts as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 50/50 split with non-commercial and commercial work (training can be provided for non-commercial).
  • Work Monday to Friday 08:00am to 17:30pm and every other Saturday 08:00am to 13:00pm.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 Qualified.
