Job Summary:

Evoke Staffing Ltd is seeking a skilled Weekend Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a permanent weekend shift worker, you will be responsible for the continuous automated maintenance of fully automated machinery and plant equipment, ensuring that all equipment and services are maintained to the highest Health and Safety and operating standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on 3 phase controls and electrical controls, including PLC's (Siemens 7), to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Conduct fault finding and diagnostic checks to identify and resolve equipment issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the wider engineering team to develop and improve maintenance schedules, reducing engineering downtime and increasing productivity.
  • Assist with on-site installations and machinery/equipment assessments, working closely with the site engineering manager.
  • Evidence at least 3-5 years of previous, relevant electrical maintenance engineering experience, ideally with a HNC/ONC and/or NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering or as a time-served engineer.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work a permanent weekend shift (Friday to Sunday 05.30 am – 17.30 pm) (Saturday to Monday 05.30 am – 17.30 pm).
  • Ability to respond rapidly to machine breakdowns and failures, working within the wider engineering team to deliver, develop and improve maintenance schedules.
