About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ecologist to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a key member of our ecological consulting team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on environmental impact assessments, habitat surveys, and species conservation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead ecological assessments and surveys for various projects, including infrastructure development, urban planning, and environmental impact assessments.
  • Develop and implement effective conservation strategies for threatened and endangered species.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver high-quality reports and presentations to clients.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ecological consulting, with a strong background in environmental impact assessments and species conservation.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
