Job Title: Ebner Operator

Location: Bradford

Salary: Basic pay is £.20 plus £.05 shift allowance per annum.

Shifts: Continental Shift Pattern 4 days on, 4 days off (Nights Only)

Job Overview:

As an Ebner Operator at Bekaert, you will play a vital role in the effective processing of premium materials through the Ebner heat treatment procedure. Your responsibilities will encompass quality control testing, oil dipping, and packaging, all performed in a streamlined and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate workloads to ensure compliance with Kanban systems.
• Efficiently load and unload Ebner furnaces.
• Oversee and comprehend Ebner heat treatment cycles.
• Conduct comprehensive product testing, including visual, mechanical, and metallographic assessments.
• Effectively manage samples and reject materials.
• Process materials through oil dipping.
• Package finished products according to established specifications.

Qualifications:

• Experience in mechanical and metallographic testing (Desirable)
• Valid FLT license.
• Background in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with SAP.
• Knowledge of Ebner systems.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Reliability and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
• Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
