Position Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and overseeing the Adults Safeguarding team, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and adherence to the strategic objectives, policies, and guidelines set forth by Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the primary coordination of 'Adult at Risk' cases within a collaborative multi-agency framework, guiding the process from referral to strategy meetings, investigations, case conferences, reviews, and conclusion.
  • Oversee and coordinate 'Professional Concern' cases in accordance with Section 5 of the All Wales Safeguarding Procedures.

Qualifications: Candidates must possess a CQSW, Diploma, or BA (Hons) in Social Work and hold registration with Social Care Wales.

Additional Requirements: A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are mandatory for this role.
