Warehouse Operative

Location: Alfreton, North Derbyshire

Pay rate: £11.44p/h

Temporary ongoing position with potential for permanent placement.

Working hours: 7.30am to 3.30pm - Upon transitioning to a permanent role, the schedule includes 4 days a week on rotating shifts - 7.30am to 5.30pm / 12pm to 10pm rotating shifts, plus one Saturday a month from 7am to 4pm.

We are actively seeking Warehouse Operatives for our client located in Alfreton, North Derbyshire.

This role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, requiring candidates to be target-oriented with prior experience in warehouse operations or a similar field.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Picking and packing of items
  • Scanning parcels for shipment using both computers and handheld devices.
  • Safely moving items throughout the warehouse and sorting parcels at the package center for proper distribution.


 Labelling products
  • Unloading containers, which may involve heavy lifting.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment
  • Ability to meet targets in a fast-paced setting
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Strong punctuality and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel to Alfreton
