MERITUS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team in a leading defence consultancy. As a key member of our Infrastructure Engineering function, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and managing secure platforms and infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Take a leading role in the design, build, and management of secure platforms and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Work closely with customers and stakeholders to define project requirements and assist the delivery team in ensuring projects are delivered on time and to agreed specification.
  • Mentor and assist junior engineers in their professional development.
  • Work within existing monitoring, observability, and security frameworks to achieve customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • High level of experience in the design, build, and management of Windows or Linux infrastructure.
  • Strong experience managing on-prem and VMware server environments.
  • Automation using PowerShell, Bash, Shell, Python, or similar languages.
  • Exposure to infrastructure design and automation.
  • Active DV security clearance.

Benefits:

  • Salary up to £80,000 (dependent on experience).
  • £5,000 bonus.
