Electrical Inspector Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team at CV Library. As an Electrical Inspector, you will be responsible for carrying out detailed Electrical Safety checks and inspections, delivering inspection reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site-based Electrical Safety checks and inspections
  • Risk assessment of fixed electrical installations
  • Drawings, tracing, labelling, and schedules of electrical installations
  • Emergency lighting inspection and test to BS 5266 standard
  • Electrical load analysis; Public entertainment licensing testing
  • Lightning protection systems inspection and testing
  • Electrical safety assessments for plant and machinery
Requirements:
  • C&G Part 1, 2 & 3 electrical installation qualification or HND/HNC
  • C&G 2391/2392 Inspection and Testing certificate
  • Minimum 10 years relevant Electrical industry experience, ideally 5 of which have involved testing and inspecting electrical installations/ATEX inspections
  • Experience working in Nuclear, Waste-Energy, Renewables, Oil & Gas, Aviation, etc.
  • Current UK driving license
