Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer – High Voltage (Critical Systems)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Critical Systems Team as a High Voltage Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing electrical design expertise and guidance to graduates and technicians.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own project work and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Provide detailed design of electrical distribution at MV and LV, rail power delivery solutions, and electrical installations for special locations.
  • Utilize specialist software such as ETAP, Paladin, and Trimble to deliver high-quality designs.
  • Collaborate with the Ramboll project manager to ensure project deadlines are met.

About You:

  • You will have a CIBSE/IET Engineering Council accredited honors degree or an HNC in an applicable discipline with a commitment to continue with higher education.
  • You will have an understanding of financial arrangements for projects, including fee forecasting, preparation, and allocation.
  • You will have a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You will be forward-thinking and passionate about digital design innovation and 'smart design' in an increasingly digitalized construction arena.
  • You will have experience across different sectors, such as Building Services Design, Site surveys & inspections, Snagging, Client & design team meetings.
