Job Title: Plant Operative

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Plant Operative to join our team at our Reading Asphalt Plant. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating the plant and associated equipment to ensure the efficient production of materials for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to FM Conway procedures
  • Load materials onto vehicles and undertake loading shovel operations as required
  • Operate weighbridge functions and follow site Health & Safety procedures
  • Contribute to the overall well-being and profitability of the site and the business
Requirements:
  • Team player with good communication skills and a full UK driving license
  • Flexible and computer literate, with a focus on health and safety
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
