Behavioural Science Fellowship

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioural Science Fellow to join our team at the University of Manchester. The successful candidate will have expertise in cross-cultural psychology, social psychology, and/or social influence, and will be responsible for conducting research in these areas.

The fellowship is jointly hosted by GCHQ and the University of Manchester, and will provide the opportunity to work on a research project designed in consultation with colleagues in GCHQ, addressing issues relevant to national security and GCHQ's own research agenda.

The fellow will have a base within the University of Manchester and will have mentors both within the University and GCHQ to offer guidance and support. The fellow will be expected to attend GCHQ's Manchester office regularly and will be required to apply for national security clearance from GCHQ.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field and will have experience in conducting research in cross-cultural psychology, social psychology, and/or social influence. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to work effectively in a team environment.
