Quality Assurance Analyst (Opportunities for Junior and Senior Levels)

Pertemps Network Group is on the lookout for Quality Assurance Analysts at both junior and senior tiers to join our dynamic team. Your contributions will be vital in the assessment and validation of our software applications, ensuring they align with both functional and non-functional specifications.

Junior Quality Assurance Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Implement test cases and scripts in accordance with established test plans.
  • Detect, document, and monitor defects using a systematic defect tracking tool.
  • Collaborate with development teams to address and resolve identified defects.
  • Acquire and apply testing methodologies and industry best practices.
  • Assist in the formulation and upkeep of test cases and scripts.

Desired Qualifications for Junior Role:

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to swiftly learn new software applications and technologies.
  • Enthusiasm for developing and enhancing testing skills.

Senior Quality Assurance Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, execute, and sustain comprehensive test plans and strategies.
  • Guide and mentor a team of QA analysts.
  • Review and interpret requirements and specifications.
  • Design, create, and manage test cases and scripts.
  • Conduct test case evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Identify, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks.
  • Analyze test outcomes and report on software quality metrics.
  • Engage with development and product teams to uphold quality standards.
  • Contribute to DevOps practices, including the setup and maintenance of test environments.

Desired Qualifications for Senior Role:

  • Demonstrated experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a QA team.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong focus on detail and precision.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

Preferred Skills for Both Roles:

  • Familiarity with test automation tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database testing techniques.
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with EasyRepro.
  • Background in Test Automation.
