We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Cover Tutor to join our team at PeoplePlus. As a Regional Cover Tutor, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education programs to learners in our prisons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide cover for small groups of learners across a range of subjects, including Catering, Personal & Social Development, and ESOL.
- Work closely with our management team and other PeoplePlus staff to familiarize yourself with the curriculum and individual schemes of learning.
- Support learners in developing their skills, knowledge, and behaviors, while helping them achieve their long-term goals and aspirations.
- Ensure that appropriate training plans are in place and provide advice and guidance as needed.
- Deliver high-quality courses that engage learners and help them reach their potential.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Maths and English, or equivalent.
- Substantial experience in your field as an expert.
- Experience of delivering training.
- A teaching or assessing qualification is desirable.
- Ability to display a wide range of training methods to engage learners and flexibility to deliver qualifications across various subjects.
What We Offer:
If you don't currently hold a teaching or assessing qualification, we can support you through the appropriate qualifications and assessments as part of your probationary period.
