Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the procurement of spare parts and materials.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • Perform machine adjustments and changeovers to meet production demands.
  • Monitor and calibrate equipment to maintain precision and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and increase efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and spare parts inventory.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ level 3 or equivalent, in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyors, motors, and sorting and packaging equipment.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, with a focus on conveyors, motors, and sorting and packaging equipment.
  • Desirable skills include experience in robotics and understanding of PLC systems.
  • Proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to ensuring the highest levels of equipment reliability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
