Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a locum basis to work in a GP out-of-hours service in Stoke-on-Trent. As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and discharging patients presenting at the site with undiagnosed and undifferentiated conditions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose patients presenting at the site
  • Treat and discharge patients as appropriate
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the needs of patients

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the NMC as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner
  • Experience in assessment and treatment of minor illness and minor injury
  • Independent Prescriber qualification
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
