Job Title: Chartered Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Structural Engineer to join our team at Bennett & Game Recruitment Limited. As a Chartered Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for working on a wide range of projects, including structural surveys and structural designs for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake technical and feasibility studies, including organizing site investigations
  • Use a range of software to develop detailed structural designs and hand calculations
  • Liaise with clients and various professionals, including contractors and architects
  • Prepare contract documents and manage tenders
  • Resolve design and development problems and manage budget and project resources
  • Provide supervision and support to ICE/IStructE candidates to promote knowledge and understanding
Requirements:
  • MICE/MIStructE/FICE Qualified
  • Experience and extensive working knowledge of consulting engineering, surveying, architectural, and planning practices
  • Experience in negotiation, supervisory, and leadership roles
  • Experience in working to deadlines and within budgets on large-scale projects
  • Located in commutable distance to Manchester
