Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Ely St Mary's CofE Junior School. The successful candidate will provide support to pupils across Key Stage 2, working closely with teachers to ensure the best possible learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide classroom support to pupils across Key Stage 2
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Support pupils with special educational needs
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with children and/or as a Teaching Assistant
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Enthusiasm, ambition, and a desire to improve children's life chances through education
  • Highly organised, conscientious, and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
  • Ability to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents, and pupils
  • Flexibility and ability to work professionally

Ely St Mary's CofE Junior School is part of the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT), a large multi-academy Trust consisting of 40 primary academies and approximately 7,000 pupils.
